Go Ahead. Jump.

Have you ever thought about jumping but just haven’t quite had the guts to do so? Maybe these two perspectives can help.

$865,000 - One bedroom in Manhattan.
$865,000 - Two acres on Maui.

Granted, Maui and NYC offer two very different lifestyles. However, what you’ll find about Maui transplants is that many are former mainlanders who, for whatever reasons, finally decided to take a deep breath and jump.

Maui isn’t for everyone. Most of its roads are two lanes wide, comparatively empty with unbelievably low speed limits. That's okay, though. The natural order of things here gave birth to our well known slogan: "Slow down. This ain't the mainland."

Skyscrapers and Louboutins are surrendered in exchange open space and barefoot nights.

We don't get to squeeze shoulder to sweaty armpit with 20,000 of our closest friends to see Billy Joel or Elton John play Madison Square Garden, but we do get to exhale on the lush lawn with a couple thousand other laid back locals under the diamond stars and swaying palm trees to experience their legendary A-list magic.

There’s rarely much of any newsworthy weather variance, let alone any winter storms bearing names that conjure up visions of Titanic disaster. Here, if you don’t like the weather, drive a few miles and you'll find what you swear to be your made-to-order microclimate.

Compare this Big Apple address (http://tinyurl.com/ots4wx7) to this Mountain Apple address (http://www.130kuloliplace.com). They are selling for the exact same dollar amount - apples to apples. Sort of. The Maui address has two homes instead of two rooms. Even more tempting, the cost of living in Hawaii is actually less than that of New York - or even San Francisco, for that matter.

If you’ve ever considered jumping, this just may be that sole opportunity that doesn't end with "...if I had only..." CALL ME NOW before this blog goes viral like the last one did (actually sparking a bidding war).

Go ahead and take that deep breath. Take the chance. Jump, no matter where you're from. I’ll hold your hand with aloha.
