The Maui Real Estate Market - August to September 2015*


For those who enjoy statistics, you may find this information interesting. 
From August 29 to September 25, 2015, Maui's active real estate listings included 216 total pendings as follows:

  • 104 (48%) of those were single family homes.
  • 85 (39%) of those were condos.
  • 15 (7%) of those were vacant land.
  • 4 (2%) of those were commercial properties.
  • 8 (4%) of those were considered "other."

Of those 216 total pendings, over 40% were in the areas of the island with which I am intimately familiar:

  • 6.94% were on the North Shore - my specialty!
  • 9.72% were Upcountry, where I close many transactions.
  • 24.07% were in Central Maui, where I am also well-informed and well-known.

Going back to January of 2015, Maui's active real estate listings were as follows:

  • 289 total pendings from January 3 to January 30.
  • 240 total pendings from January 31 to February 27.
  • 257 total pendings from February 28 to March 27.
  • 308 total pendings from March 28 to May 1.
  • 216 total pendings from May 2 to May 29.
  • 232 total pendings from May 30 to June 26.
  • 292 total pendings from June 27 to July 31.
  • 202 total pendings from August 1 to August 28.
